By the end of this Excel training course delegates will have gained skills in how to work with ranges, time and date functions, logical and lookup functions, text functions as well as working with databases.
Excel Intermediate Course Content
Module One – Named Ranges and Combining With Functions
Naming Cell Ranges, Removing a Named Range, Using Named Cell Ranges with Sum, Count, Countblank, Average, Max, Min.
Module Two – Time and Date Functions
Inserting the Current Time and Date, Today, Now, Day, Month, Year.
Module Three – Logical and Lookup Functions
If, And, Or, Vlookup, Iferror.
Module Four – Text Functions
Left, Right, Mid, Trim, Concatenate.
Module Five – Sorting and Filtering Data
Sorting Data by Multiple Columns at the Same Time, Custom Sorts, Using AutoFilter, Advanced Filter Criteria, Sub-Totalling.
Module Six –Cell Formatting
Applying Styles to a Range, Conditional Formatting, Custom Number Formats.
Who should take this Intermediate Excel course?
This Excel course is designed for delegates with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to a level equivalent to having completed the Microsoft Excel Introduction course and who wish to gain further knowledge of the more advanced features such as data handling tools, charting options and how to use more in-depth function of Microsoft Excel.
